Welcome record lovers! My name is Trisha Horn and I am the “new
look” of the Edward Saunders tradition. For many years Ed Saunders has been a well known name in the analog audio circle. Thanks to Ed’s dedication and perseverance records, record players and turntables are being enjoyed worldwide that might otherwise have been in the closet or the trash.
Early in 2007 Ed was approached by a larger corporation who wanted to purchase the Ed Saunders name and company. Although Ed initially, flatly refused, he ultimately agreed to sell a 50% stake in the successful, International business he had single handedly built from the ground up. The resulting partnership was a train wreck.
By January 1, 2010, not only
was Ed pretty much wiped out financially, his spirit was broken.
I am here to change that. I am no expert! I own two records and they hang on my wall as decorations. Ed is an expert, though, with knowledge that spans decades in the recorded music industry. I guess you could say I am the muscle and Ed is the brain. Together we will keep the tradition alive. Please enjoy our new website and feel free to ask any question. Like Ed has always said, “There’s no such thing as a dumb question when it comes to playing records”.
